The American Mace from Peacock Baton Company is the most popular drum major mace in America today! Because each mace is custom made to your unique specifications, please allow time for production.
More maces in the order could result in a longer production time. Standard shipping is approximately 4-5 business days.
American Maces are 58″ approximately.
Please note that American Maces can only be shortened down to 55″ at the shortest, as going any further weakens the shaft and may cause cracking and damage. This can only be done on a case by case basis if supplies are available. Please email edeleon@varsity.com to see if available.
Chains and cords are included in the box when ordered but are not wrapped. There is an option to have the cords or chain wrapped for an additional fee.

Key Features of the American Mace:
- Metal parts are made of steel for maximum durability and are then polished, double nickel plated and then chromed plated.
- Crowns are easily interchangeable
- Dome, chain, cords, and rubber tip are user replaceable
- Semi-flexible shaft is constructed of nine layers of fiberglass and tapers from 1” down to 5/8”
- Measures approximately 58” in length and can be shortened ( when supplies are available. Email edeleon@varsity.com for details)
- All parts are replaceable or repairable
If getting your mace shortened, shortenings are approximate and are measured from the bottom of the tip to the top of an Eagle crown (even if getting practice crowns).
ALL Maces are custom made and are non-returnable.
