    Question(s) of the Day:

    name: Naomi Graham

Question: I have drum major tryouts coming up really soon and i need help with
my salute. What are some of the things that make up a good salute?

Good question! Salute should have a definite starting point. You need 4 or 5
different moves in the salute preparation. About a 12 to 18 count pattern is good
All moves must be very accurate and be careful what you do with your free hand.
Hitting the salute line 6 before and 6 after helps. If you make a mistake on
the count before the line you should always nail the 6 after the line and come
out on the 7th step pass the line. I could go on for about another hour but
    thats it real quick.
